Our client, a company in the transport and logistics industry incorporated in Uganda with the aim of offering timely and secure logistical solutions to businesses and individuals across the globe, seeks to hire Sales Executives. The ideal candidates’ primary purpose will be to achieve set sales targets, identify new points of contacts, maintain and promote strong customer relationships among the existing customers, and promote the firm by building its identity in the marketplace by adapting to emerging trends.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Seek and promote the company’s services to potential and existing clients.
  • Seek leads and develop clientele through networking so as to find new and potential customers.
  • Contact potential clients and make presentations to prospective clients.
  • Forward customer queries and complaints to Management and resolve matters that can be handled at your level of authority.
  • Identify customer needs and present them to the Company.
  • Carry out market intelligence to determine competitor position in the market.
  • Maintain a record of all business acquired and prospective clients
  • Develop a periodical plan to achieve set sales target
  • Responsible for carrying out prospecting calls
  • Establishing and manage relationships with customers in need of the firm’s freight transportation services
  • Maintain consistent positive interactions to nurture customer relationships
  • Take ownership of customer issues and follow-through till resolution
  • Represent the firm in negotiating and building relationship with shippers and carriers.
  • Perform Cold-calling and work to build a book of businesses.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a business - related course
  • At least 3 years in Sales & marketing department of preferably a courier company selling exports and imports
  • Extremely aggressive person in target based sales
  • Strong knowledge of the local freight forwarding industry – imports and exports via Sea, Road and Air
  • Smart and presentable
  • Self-managed and go getter
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses; Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities

Our client in the financial sector is looking for a credit/loaning officer who has exceptional business prowess, strong knowledge in loan procedures and best practices according to financial laws and regulations.  The desired applicant shall assist clients with loan applications, screening loan request, assess risk ratios and present approved/rejected loans to management.

The desired candidate is expected to carry out the following roles: 

  • Meeting with clients interested in taking out a loan and providing them with the necessary information to start the loan application process.
  • Collecting the needed financial documentation and assessing the clients' creditworthiness.
  • Calculating and analyzing the risk ratios of clients based on their credit score and financial history.

Required Knowledge:

Qualifications:

Duties and Responsibility

  • Take part in pest control executions for all clients.        
  • Take stock of Pest control materials and chemicals used.
  • Direct and/or assist other workers in treatment and extermination processes to eliminate and control rodents, insects, and weeds.
  • Inspect premises to identify infestation source and extent of damage to property, wall and roof porosity, and access to infested locations.    
  • Study preliminary reports and diagrams of infested area and determine treatment type required to eliminate and prevent recurrence of infestation.    
  • Calculate cost of fumigation services based on accurate measurement of area dimensions requiring treatment, using acceptable standards.

Key Role Responsibilities and Duties include:

  • Following a filing system and organizing records, such as letters, legal documents, correspondence, invoices and memoranda according to the company system.
  • Register mortgages and handle property transfers in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • developing, implementing and tracking business growth, marketing and brand building strategies and plans for the short, medium and long term.
